Lord, Give Me Faith

Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Mark 11:22-24 The fig tree Jesus cursed was withered by the next day. Jesus had the substance of faith and told his disciples, "Have faith in God." With this treasure in our possession, nothing is impossible, no obstacle to great. If we have faith, we can ask, believe that we have received and we will have what we ask for. 

Prayer for today - 

Father, release faith into my heart. Let me live with the substance of it surging through my veins. Let it rule my thoughts and shape my view of the world. Overall, let it be the door, as Christ is the door. Let Your Name be glorified by my faith. Over every foe, we have victory in Christ by faith.  Today, let the seeds of truth and faith be planted in my heart. Give me fig tree withering faith, mountain moving faith. Let it bring you glory wherever I go that Your name may be established as ruler over all things in the hearts of men. 

Under the shadow of Your presence I can do mighty things for you just by speaking. Release your Spirit in power and bring new levels of healing to our community. Break free the captives and let the substance of faith be our great Physician. Glory and Honor and Power are your's Lord. Your Name brings light into the darkness. Let no cell of disease or be hidden from your eyes and your power. Fill me with knowledge that sets captives free and activates faith. 

Holy God, to You alone be the glory and the power and the dominion forever. Amen.
