The Gospel

We were created and all was perfect. 

"God saw that it was good." 

They talked with Him.

They walked with Him.

Then...
One bad choice 
Shame. Separation. Death. Sickness. 

Fellowship broken.

Time passed.

God who? 

No one cared. 

Other things, not of God, captivated the people.

A holy God saw
A self-centered world. 

Lonely for His creation, 
He grieved.


There was one man; one who regarded God. 

One out of how many? 

Chosen, warned.

120 years would be allowed.

Finally, 
torrents of tears.
Grief from heaven. 

The floodgates of earth open. 

Incubating in a ship, 
tossed on the waves, 

God's one friend and his family float.

The remnant of mankind.

Hearing the scoffers screams, 

Scoffers who mocked Noah 
died with what they loved;

Noah lived for what he loved.

Painted across the sky.

An ongoing reminder 
Our God is a jealous God, 
A passionate, loving God.

Love and longing,

Deep, like the floodgates of the earth.
A loving God,
not content with separation.

"I will put in them a heart of flesh." 
It required sacrifice.
A magnificent sacrifice.
A final sacrifice.

One man, 
the Word made flesh came,

Fully submitted to the Father.

Before all, He existed.

He lived praying, 
reliant on the Father, 
Hungry to be where His Father was.
A model for us.

He knew the Father's ways 
and the Father's heart.

"Not my will, but Your's be done," 

he cried and sweat blood in prayer.

Loved, empowered, given a charge.

Pierced, humiliated, scourged, killed.
If only Satan knew what would come,

But he didn't. 


And he killed Jesus.

And the earth shook. 

And the curtain tore.

And Satan fell into the trap.

The curse was broken.

A new covenant, cut in blood.

The curtain tore.
Fellowship resumed.

The Word made flesh rose, 
Victorious.
Authority belongs to the lamb.
All things under His feet.


A new Way is born.
He breathed on them - the Spirit.

Elijah's power

Unquenched and released.


The fire behind the Church. 

Thy kingdom come. 
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

"Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give," Jesus instructed.

Freely, abundantly, they were to share 
The blessing of freedom.

That was the direction He left. 
The will of the Father made clear. 

Ask according to my nature. 
All you ask will be granted.

It's up to you now. 
Demonstrate who I AM.

Restoration. Friendship with God. It all became possible. Jesus said, "Remain in me and I will remain in you."  In that connected place we find the oneness with the Father that Jesus had, per Jesus own words, "

John 17:20-21 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
